Google has agreed to pay 700 million dollars and allow more competition in its app store, Google Play.

The IT giant has been forced to admit defeat in a federal court in San Francisco after a joint complaint brought by several US states and the Department of Justice against the company. Under the settlement, $630 million will go to consumers and $70 million to the states that filed the complaints.
