NASA has revealed the first images of Earth taken by the astronauts of the Artemis II mission during their journey to the Moon. Stunning photographs, taken by the mission commander, Reid Wiseman, using a tablet, capture the beauty of our planet. The images were published on the third day of the mission, marking a symbolic moment, reminding us that, no matter the distances traveled, we remain one world. A second image, described as a "pale blue dot," was taken from one of the windows of the Orion capsule. The astronauts, including Christina Koch, shared their emotions regarding the incredible views of Earth and their anticipation of seeing the Moon.

Wiseman recounted a spectacular moment when the globe of Earth was visible in its entirety, including the aurora borealis. The crew was so fascinated by the views that they delayed their meal to take photographs, enjoying the beauty of the dark surface of Earth illuminated by the Moon.
