Apple has announced a significant expansion of its American Manufacturing Program, including four new partners – Bosch, Cirrus Logic, TDK, and Qnity Electronics – in its supply chain in the United States. These companies will produce essential materials and components for Apple products, and the company will invest 400 million dollars in these initiatives by 2030. Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, emphasized that these partnerships reflect the company's commitment to American innovation and will create jobs, strengthening the industrial capabilities of the U.S. Since the launch of AMP in 2025, Apple has exceeded its initial goals, acquiring over 20 billion chips produced in the U.S. This decision comes in a context where U.S. authorities emphasize domestic production and reducing dependence on imports.
