The President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, emphasized the importance of the visit of his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, stating that it demonstrates the unity between the two countries in terms of security, good news for the region, but bad news for Moscow. This was the first bilateral meeting between the two leaders since Nawrocki took office in August. During the discussions, Nawrocki highlighted that Poland and Ukraine are united on strategic issues and democratic values.
He also mentioned that many Poles feel that the extensive support offered to Ukraine has not been sufficiently appreciated, conveying these thoughts to Zelensky in a cordial yet firm conversation. Nawrocki emphasized that the authorities in Kyiv now have the necessary tools to improve the perception of Polish support.
