The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a visit to the Donetsk region, where he stated that Russia is preparing an offensive for the upcoming spring. In a post on social media, Zelensky emphasized the importance of maintaining strong positions in the face of the Russian threat, stating that Ukrainians in Donbas are fighting to stop the aggression. Additionally, recent discussions between Ukraine and Russia, mediated by the USA, ended without significant progress, with Russia refusing to concede to Ukrainian demands, especially regarding the cession of the entire Donbas. Zelensky rejected the idea of territorial concessions, insisting that any decision of this kind should be validated by a referendum, which he considers to be against the cession of Donbas.
