The meeting will take place in the city of Linköping, the headquarters of the defense group Saab, known for the production of the Gripen fighter jet. At the end of the meeting, the two officials will hold a joint press conference to detail this agreement. Prime Minister Kristersson emphasized the importance of a strong Ukraine in the face of Russia's aggression, mentioning that Sweden will continue to support Ukraine.

Last year, Sweden suspended plans to send Gripen aircraft to Ukraine, favoring American F-16 planes at the request of partners.
