The German government has announced that Volodimir Zelensky will visit Berlin to coordinate virtual European meetings ahead of Donald Trump's meeting with Vladimir Putin. The Europeans hope to persuade Trump not to accept Putin's terms on territory. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called the meeting, and Trump has said he will consider 'everybody's ideas' ahead of the summit in Alaska, scheduled for Friday.
