Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine wishes to maintain the support of the United States in the context of Washington's increasing attention to conflicts in the Middle East. In a press conference, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is willing to collaborate with the U.S. and its allies, offering military expertise in the field of drones. He mentioned that teams of Ukrainian specialists have been sent to various countries in the Middle East to help assess defense systems against drones, highlighting that nearly 12 countries have requested assistance in this area.
Zelensky clarified that Ukraine's involvement does not mean direct participation in conflicts, but focuses on technical assessments and protection against drone attacks. In exchange for the expertise offered, Ukraine hopes to obtain additional technology and funding to strengthen its defense capabilities.
