President Zelensky announced the concentration of up to 100,000 Russian soldiers near Pokrovsk, a strategic town in eastern Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the situation near the city of Pokrovsk is extremely concerning, with Russia accumulating forces for possible offensive actions. Russian troops have approached the city from multiple directions, now being less than 5 km away. Zelensky also emphasized the need to accelerate the program for acquiring military equipment from the USA, with the support of some European countries.
