Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his country will expand missile and drone attacks on several regions in Russia. The President of Ukraine emphasized that these capabilities are essential for Ukraine's independence. In his daily message, Zelensky mentioned that Ukrainian military leaders discussed possible gains by the end of the year, including a "geographical expansion" of the attacks. He also mentioned a "technical issue" related to Ukrainian cruise missiles, Flamingo. Ukraine has carried out repeated attacks within Russian territory, mainly with drones, in the context of the three-and-a-half-year conflict with Russia. Russian authorities recently reported intercepting a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow.
