The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Istanbul on Saturday for a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to an announcement made by the presidential administration in Kiev.

Zelensky's spokesperson, Serhii Nikiforov, confirmed the president's arrival and mentioned that he will also have a meeting with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew. The meeting between Zelensky and Erdogan focuses on security cooperation, a topic of great importance in the current context of international relations and security challenges in the region. This visit underscores Ukraine's commitment to collaborating with its strategic partners to address regional security issues.
