Zelensky addressed in the discussion with Trump the Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy system, emphasizing the need to strengthen air defense. The conversation took place after a massive Russian attack, which left hundreds of thousands of homes without electricity. Zelensky asked Trump to pressure Putin to stop the attacks, and a Ukrainian delegation is set to visit the USA for discussions on sanctions and defense. These attacks are considered war crimes by Ukraine.
