Volodimir Zelenski has said that Vladimir Putin would take advantage of a possible US withdrawal from peace talks over Ukraine. In a social media post, Zelenski emphasized that the US must stay involved because the only winner would be Putin. He noted that new sanctions on Russia would be essential to limit Russia's capacity to invade. In this context, Donald Trump held telephone talks with Zelenski and Putin, seeking solutions to the conflict in Ukraine.
