Volodimir Zelenski said he did not know whether he would have time to attend Pope Francis' funeral in Rome on Saturday because of military meetings. Although his adviser had previously announced that he and the first lady would be present, Zelenski stressed the uncertainty about his schedule. At the same time, US President Donald Trump said he might meet Zelenski on the sidelines of the funeral, while the Elysee Palace confirmed that President Macron would have no diplomatic meetings that day.
