This proportion has remained constant since 2021, mainly due to youth immigration, particularly from Ukraine. Among the descendants of immigrants, the proportion of young people reaches 20.7%. There are significant regional differences, with the highest proportions in Bremen and Hamburg, and Germany has a lower proportion of young people than the EU average of 10.7%.
