Low-cost airline Wizz Air reported an operating profit of 167.5 million euros for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, below analysts' expectations. Problems with Pratt and Whitney-supplied engines led to the grounding of 20% of its fleet, limiting operating capacity. Although revenue rose 3.8%, CEO Jozsef Varadi warned that engine repair challenges would continue for another two to three years. Wizz Air will not provide guidance for 2026 due to current uncertainties.
