Strong storms caused floods and landslides in Switzerland, France, Italy and Poland, killing at least 9 people.

Violent storms have hit several European countries, causing floods and landslides. In France, a tree uprooted by a storm killed three people and in Switzerland four people died in a landslide. North-west Italy was also hit by floods and landslides, with many locals rescued by firefighters.
