During the weekend, the Turkish Parliament was the scene of a violent brawl between members of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Republican People's Party (CHP). The incident occurred on Sunday, during a session dedicated to debating the budget for 2026. The dispute began between two opposition deputies and quickly escalated, involving other colleagues who intervened. A video recording captured the moment when the deputies fought with fists and pushed each other. The chairperson of the session was forced to suspend the proceedings; however, after tensions calmed, the budget was adopted.
