Orban called for Turkish support for Hungary's initiative to mediate the conflict in Ukraine, noting that Turkey was the only country to have successfully mediated between the parties involved. The head of the Hungarian delegation to the NATO summit in Washington also called on the North Atlantic Alliance to take a greater role in the peace mission for Ukraine.
