The US has announced the release of 30 million dollars to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which faces criticism from the UN and NGOs for the way it operates. GHF has distributed some 46 million meals but is accused of involvement in Israeli operations. The Israeli-imposed blockade has led to severe shortages, and Gaza's health ministry reports nearly 550 deaths near aid centers. The US reaffirms its support for the GHF in seeking peace in the region.
