According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) conducted military operations against Iran in April, while the United States and Israel were considered the main forces involved in the attacks on Tehran.
Anonymous sources cited by the American newspaper indicate that the UAE's attacks focused on oil facilities on Lavan Island, an Iranian territory. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks against Kuwait and the UAE, targeting American bases and energy infrastructure, resulting in 10 civilian deaths.
Since the beginning of the conflict, the UAE has been the target of over 551 ballistic missiles and 2,263 drones. Despite the effectiveness of the air defense system, these attacks have affected the stability of Dubai, an important business and tourism hub. The UAE, a U.S. ally, has taken a firmer stance against Iran compared to other Gulf countries.
