The United States has announced the closure of its embassy in Jerusalem from Wednesday, June 18, until Friday, June 20, for security reasons, following the escalation of mutual attacks between Israel and Iran. President Trump has called for Iran's capitulation and threatened direct action against the Iranian leader. Against this backdrop, the Iranian military warned of imminent attacks and Israel activated air alerts after detecting Iranian missiles.
