<p>A U.S. court has authorized the White House to temporarily deny Associated Press journalists access to sensitive areas, such as the Oval Office, until the agency's lawsuit is resolved. The appeals court ruled that such restrictions are at the discretion of the executive branch, rejecting charges that they violate press freedom.
