The National Crisis Management Center of Lithuania reported sighting a drone at an altitude of 200 meters near Vilnius. The type of the drone remains unknown and the authorities have begun locating it. Defense Minister Dovile Sakaliene said the favorable weather could also influence illegal activities such as smuggling. The Zapad 2025 military exercises, involving 13,000 Russian and Belarusian troops, are also increasing the risk of incidents in the area, given previous Russian drone incidents in the airspace of NATO states.
