The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reacted to the statements by Tulsi Gabbard, the director of the U.S. National Intelligence Service, who claimed that the American government has funded over 120 biological laboratories in various countries, including Ukraine.

Ukraine emphasized that it respects the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons and has not conducted activities related to the development of biological weapons. Cooperation with the U.S. has been focused on strengthening the public health system and biosecurity. The ministry clarified that the laboratories involved are intended for diagnostics and scientific research, not for the development of biological weapons. It also mentioned that the presence of samples of pathogenic agents is common in laboratories around the world. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine rejected the accusations as unfounded, and Gabbard was criticized for inaccuracies in the presented map.
