According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, the approval rating of American President Donald Trump has dropped to 33%, the lowest level of his entire political career, while 64% of respondents disapprove of him. This decline in popularity comes amid American concerns that U.S. involvement in the conflict with Iran will last a long time. Approximately 80% of Americans believe that the war will continue for an extended period, while only 16% think it will end in a few weeks.
The conflict has led to an increase in gasoline prices, affecting American households and putting pressure on Trump's Republican allies, who are preparing for the midterm elections. Trump, who initially promised a quick solution, is now facing a complicated situation, with Iran demonstrating significant resilience in the face of attacks.
The poll was conducted online, with a sample of 1,166 American adults, with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points.
