Donald Trump’s popularity at an all-time low in the US

U.S. President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to 32% — the lowest of his political career — as his Republican supporters expressed dissatisfaction with how he is handling the cost of living amid the unpopular war in Iran, according to a new poll cited by Reuters.

The four-day poll, which concluded on Sunday, showed that 73% of Republicans approve of Trump's performance, down from 82% recorded in a Reuters/Ipsos poll a week earlier. During that week, his overall approval rating stood at 35%, Reuters reported on Monday.

Trump returned to the White House in January 2025, promising to halt inflation and end foreign wars. In a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted just hours after his inauguration, he had an approval rating of 47%, Agerpres reports.
