The White House confirmed on Monday that Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt have proposed a 45-day ceasefire in the conflict with Iran, but American President Donald Trump rejected this initiative. An American official stated that the president did not validate the proposal and that operation 'Epic Fury' will continue. Trump threatened Iran with devastating attacks on its infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, if it does not fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday evening. Iran responded by stating that it will not negotiate under threats and that it has formulated its own demands in response to the ceasefire proposals. Mediators are focusing on reopening the Strait of Hormuz and addressing issues related to highly enriched uranium, essential conditions for a potential agreement.
