American President Donald Trump declared on his platform Truth Social that Iran is on the brink of financial collapse, highlighting a severe liquidity crisis.

According to him, the country is losing approximately 500 million dollars a day and is facing complaints from the military and police regarding unpaid salaries. Trump emphasized that Iran is requesting the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz to improve its economic situation.

He also announced the extension of the ceasefire in Iran, a decision also made at the request of Pakistan. In this context, Vice President J.D. Vance canceled a planned visit to Islamabad for negotiations with Iranian officials.
