Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated before Russian senators that American President Donald Trump does not intend to lift the sanctions imposed on Russia, but rather, is extending them. Lavrov accused Trump's predecessor, Joe Biden, of 'undermining confidence in the dollar' and forcing BRICS member states to seek alternative payment methods.
