On Thursday, Donald Trump stated that the United States has 'huge amounts' of weaponry, criticizing media reports suggesting that a shortage of missiles had prevented him from launching attacks against Iran.

On his Truth Social network, Trump emphasized that the weaponry is manufactured and transported based on needs, accusing the sources that disseminated this information of 'treason' and threatening severe penalties. Publications like CNN and the Washington Post have recently reported on a shortage of guided missiles and interceptors, stating that the U.S. military has exhausted nearly 80% of its THAAD interceptor stock.

Trump, expressing his frustrations, demanded explanations from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for the contradictory information. Spokespersons for the White House and the Pentagon dismissed these reports as false, in the context of Trump deciding to suspend attacks at Tehran's request, while the U.S. was preparing for significant military action.
