American President Donald Trump stated that Kristi Noem, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, will remain in her position, appreciating that she is doing a "very good job," despite calls for her resignation from the opposition. Trump responded negatively to journalists' questions about Noem's possible departure. At the same time, the president commented on the death of an American citizen, Alex Pretti, who was killed by a federal agent in Minneapolis, calling the incident "very sad." Trump distanced himself from his advisor Stephen Miller, who referred to Pretti as an "assassin," emphasizing that carrying a weapon during a protest is not acceptable. Noem invoked self-defense for the agent involved, but video analysis contradicted this theory, leading to Trump's dissatisfaction. Trump also had a two-hour discussion with Noem, highlighting the importance of her response in the context of the incident.
