The President of the USA, Donald Trump, has asked the European Union to impose tariffs of up to 100% on oil purchases from Russia made by China and India, in an attempt to exert pressure on Moscow in the context of the war in Ukraine. This proposal was discussed during a meeting with European and American officials. India has already criticized the tariffs imposed by the USA, considering them unfair.
