Donald Trump, the President of the USA, announced on Thursday that Iran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons for 20 years. In a discussion with reporters on the White House lawn, he expressed optimism about the possibility of a peace agreement with Iran, which could be signed in Islamabad. Trump mentioned that he might travel to Pakistan to participate in the signing of the agreement, emphasizing that Iranian leaders want him there. He also stated that Iran has agreed to give up enriched uranium, without providing evidence in this regard. Trump declared that the agreement will be favorable, without nuclear weapons. In the context of the conflict in the Middle East, he also announced a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which will come into effect on Tuesday. Iran has not officially reacted to these statements.
