The American president Donald Trump stated that Iran has accepted unlimited nuclear inspections, despite denials from Tehran.

Vice President JD Vance confirmed progress in discussions with Iranian officials, held in Switzerland, mentioning that nuclear inspectors will return to Iran. However, Iran denied that it had accepted such conditions, emphasizing that it alone decides the use of unblocked assets. Additionally, Washington granted a 60-day waiver from sanctions, facilitating the sale of humanitarian products from the US to Iran.

The Iranian ambassador to the UN rejected claims about the influence of other countries on Iran's decisions. Negotiations continue, aiming to stabilize the situation in the Middle East and ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. The discussions also include issues related to the conflict in Lebanon and the withdrawal of Israeli troops.
