American President Donald Trump announced that he will have a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, thus confirming a planned meeting. This comes after the discussions Trump had with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, and several European leaders. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov mentioned that the meeting can be organized quickly. The previous meeting between Trump and Putin took place in Alaska on August 15, but did not lead to a ceasefire in the conflict in Ukraine.
