Four people have died after a medical transport plane crashed on the Navajo Nation in Arizona during a rescue mission.

On Tuesday, a Beechcraft 300 aircraft crashed near Chinle, Arizona, during a landing maneuver, resulting in the death of four medical crew members. The aircraft was en route to a hospital to pick up a patient. The Navajo Nation Police have expressed condolences to the families of the victims, and NTSB and FAA investigators have been mobilized to investigate the cause of the crash and to document the scene.
