Time magazine announced that 'The Architects of Artificial Intelligence' are designated 'Person of the Year', highlighting their significant contribution to the development of artificial intelligence. Among those selected are Sam Altman (OpenAI), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), Demis Hassabis (Google DeepMind), Jensen Huang (Nvidia), Fei-Fei Li, Elon Musk (xAI), Lisa Su (AMD) and Mark Zuckerberg (Meta Platforms).

The editor-in-chief, Sam Jacobs, emphasized the profound impact of these individuals on society, describing them as capable of 'amazing and alarming humanity'. The 2025 edition of the magazine analyzes both the advancements and the challenges brought by AI, including a tragic incident related to ChatGPT. Time has also awarded the title of 'Person of the Year' to collectives in the past, and this year chose to recognize a group of leaders in the field of AI technology.
