Four Romanian art objects, including the golden helmet from Coșofeni, were stolen in January 2025. The Dutch Public Prosecutor announced that three of the suspects will not be prosecuted, considering that their involvement was insufficient to prove a connection to the robbery. The only co-defendant, a 26-year-old man, will be tried for the theft of the license plates. The main charges concern the destruction of the museum and the theft of the car used for the escape.
