The US Army has canceled the withdrawal of refueling planes from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv due to the escalation of the conflict with Iran.

The US Army has decided to cancel plans to withdraw refueling aircraft from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, in response to the escalation of the conflict with Iran. According to the ynet.news website, 33 American refueling aircraft occupy slots at this airport, thus limiting operational capacity for commercial airlines.

The Jerusalem Post reported that this situation could lead to the cancellation of approximately 50,000 flight tickets during the summer vacation period, considering that the airport can only use one third of its capacity for civil aviation. Additionally, instructions have been issued not to approve any additional American refueling aircraft.

Initially, 18 refueling aircraft were set to leave the airport in the second half of July, and if they are not withdrawn, airlines will be informed about traffic restrictions that will last until August.
