This funding will be used for the restoration of energy installations, protecting equipment, and ensuring electricity and heating in homes, hospitals, and schools. The announcement was made in the context of celebrating 100 years of partnership between London and Kyiv. Additionally, the United Kingdom will expand the school partnership program, involving 300 schools and approximately 54,000 students. President Zelensky declared a state of energy emergency due to constant attacks, and expert Oleksandr Kharchenko emphasized that the situation in Kyiv is unprecedented, with low temperatures and attacks severely affecting heating infrastructure.
