The Trump administration has begun work on a secret plan to end the war in Ukraine, in consultation with Russian officials. The plan, structured in 28 points, focuses on four categories: peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, security in Europe, and future relations between the US and Russia. Steve Witkoff, Trump's envoy, is coordinating its development and has discussed the details with Kirill Dmitriev, a senior Russian official. Dmitriev expressed optimism about the plan's chances of success, emphasizing that Russia feels heard. Although Witkoff postponed a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky, discussions with Ukrainian officials continue. The plan aims not only at Ukraine but also at establishing lasting security in Europe, taking into account Russia's concerns. The White House has begun to inform European officials about this plan, believing that there are real chances of support from Ukraine and Europe.
