Commissioner Ginel Preda, head of the Prahova County Police Inspectorate, confirmed that Laurențiu Drăghici, head of the Traffic Bureau in Ploiești, will remain in office, despite recent incidents that led to the compromise of some documents. These incidents include documents taken from the institution and burned, as well as a flood caused by a faucet left open, which affected several records.

Preda emphasized that, according to the law, Drăghici is considered innocent until proven otherwise, and disciplinary measures cannot be taken without clear conclusions. Currently, a criminal investigation is underway, and the affected documents are in the process of drying with the help of the National Archives. Preda stated that the Prahova County Police is cooperating with the prosecutor's office to clarify the situation.
