Two agents from the immigration police (ICE) have been suspended after being involved in the shooting death of Alex Pretti, an intensive care nurse, in Minneapolis. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed their suspension as part of standard procedures. The incident occurred on Saturday and is the second similar case in which ICE and Customs agents have killed American citizens in Minneapolis in recent months, leading to nationwide protests. Customs and ICE announced that they are investigating the incident, but DHS did not provide further details.
