The pan-European Stoxx 600 index recorded a 1% increase in the second half of Monday, recovering from the sharp decline in the morning, due to the stabilization of precious metal markets. Investors began to return to stocks after the abrupt drop in silver on Friday, and major European exchanges, including FTSE, DAX, and CAC 40, closed the session in the green.

Technology stocks saw moderate gains, while silver experienced its worst daily drop since 1980, and spot gold fell by 4%. Markets in the Asia-Pacific closed lower, while U.S. exchanges rose, with investors monitoring the performance of bitcoin and Nvidia stocks, which were affected by questions regarding the sustainability of the AI boom.
