The Red Cross informed the Israeli army that it has taken over two coffins that apparently contain the bodies of hostages killed by Hamas, in the city of Gaza. The coffins were transported to IDF troops, where a ceremony led by a military rabbi will take place, and the remains will be subsequently identified.
Hamas has not disclosed the identity of the hostages handed over, but stated that it has honored the agreement to return all hostages and recovered bodies. So far, Hamas has handed over 10 bodies, but Israel has stated that one of these does not belong to any of the 28 hostages considered dead. Under a plan proposed by American President Donald Trump, Hamas must release all hostages.
