A rare copy of the comic "Action Comics No 1" from 1938, which introduced Superman, was sold to an anonymous collector for 15 million dollars. This private sale was announced on Friday and is significant, considering that the comic had previously been stolen from actor Nicolas Cage's home and returned after more than a decade. The sale price far exceeds the previous record set in November, when a copy of the comic "Superman No 1" was sold for 9.12 million dollars.

It is estimated that there are fewer than 100 copies of "Action Comics No 1", which is considered a cornerstone of the superhero genre. The sale was facilitated by Metropolis Collectibles/Comic Connect from New York, and the copy was rated 9 out of 10 points by a company specialized in the authentication of collectibles, making it one of the highest-rated versions of the comic.
