USA: Prosecutors will present their arguments against Tyler Robinson, accused of murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk

The preliminary hearing in the case of Tyler Robinson, accused of murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk, will begin on Monday and will last five days. This will be the first time that Kirk's family will be present in the courtroom alongside the defendant. Prosecutors, who are seeking the death penalty, will argue that Robinson should be tried for aggravated murder, claiming that his shootings endangered the lives of others.

Robinson turned himself in to authorities after the incident and left a text message confession, as well as a note mentioning that he would take the opportunity to kill Kirk. The hearing will include the presentation of DNA evidence, testimonies from investigators, autopsy findings, and video recordings of the incident. The district judge will later decide whether the case will proceed.
