Charlie Kirk's statue was vandalized just 2 days after its unveiling

Charlie Kirk’s statue was vandalized on the night of September 12–13, outside the headquarters of the conservative organization Turning Point USA in Arizona, according to several American and British publications cited by Le Figaro.

The sculpture was unveiled on September 10, at the entrance to the headquarters of the nonprofit co-founded by Kirk in 2012. It was found covered in red spray paint. A sad, smiling face had been drawn on the torso, a cross had been traced on the face, and drops of paint were visible on the neck. A nearby sign was also vandalized.

Turning Point USA announced that it would restore the statue and replace the damaged signs. The organization said it would review footage captured during the incident and cooperate with law enforcement to identify and hold the perpetrators accountable.

The nonprofit condemned the vandalism, calling it “diabolical.” Its representatives claimed that the perpetrators intentionally cut off Jesus’ name from one of the nearby signs.

Another statue dedicated to Charlie Kirk was unveiled in New York, in Times Square, one year after his death.
