The Pentagon requests 80 billion dollars to cover the costs of the war with Iran and other expenses

The United States Department of Defense has informed congressmen that it needs 80 billion dollars to cover the costs of the war with Iran and other expenses unrelated to the conflict.

Stephen Freiberg, Deputy Secretary of Defense, discussed by phone with several congressmen, and an official request for additional funding for the Pentagon may be forthcoming soon.
